The IPD Competition Plenum for the Porsche 996 Carrera is engineered to unlock the full performance potential of the water-cooled 911 engine, replacing the factory “T”-style air distributor with IPD’s patented “Y” design. This advanced design improves airflow distribution to both cylinder banks, reduces turbulence, and increases intake air velocity, delivering substantial gains in horsepower and torque across the entire RPM range.

Optimized for use with larger throttle bodies, the Competition Plenum upgrades the factory 74mm throttle body to the 82mm Porsche 997 GT3 throttle body, enhancing airflow and further boosting power and throttle response.
